How to apply Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax:

1. Prepare the surface – make sure the Chalk Paint™ is completely dry (minimum 24 hours)
2. Apply the first coat – use a Chalk Paint™ Wax Brush and work in small areas
3. Remove the excess – with a clean cotton cloth, remove the excess wax
4. Leave to dry – wait approximately 1 hour until it is dry to the touch
5. Second coat (optional) – apply a second coat for added protection and depth
6. Polish (optional) – for a high shine, polish with a soft cloth after 24 hours

Aging technique with clear wax:

For an aged vintage finish, lightly sand the surface after painting to reveal some of the wood or base paint, then apply Clear Wax to seal and protect the aged effect.

Care and maintenance:

• Daily cleaning – use a damp cloth
• Tough stains – use a gentle spray cleaner and re-wax if necessary
• Maintenance – reapply wax every 1-2 years depending on use
