Staalmeester® No. 12 Round Synthetic Brush

The Staalmeester® No. 12 Round Synthetic Brush belongs to the Pro-Hybrid series, characterized by its 100% synthetic fiber. The synthetic fiber is soft, making it easy to achieve a finish free of brush marks. In addition, Pro-Hybrid brushes feature an INOX ferrule, perfectly suitable for applying water- and oil-based paints.

The round brush is the most widely used brush in the Netherlands and is available in all Staalmeester® series. It is extremely versatile and perfect for painting window frames, doors, and kitchen furniture.

How to clean your brush

To enjoy Staalmeester® quality for as long as possible, it is essential to clean the brush thoroughly after each use.

For water-based paints (such as Fusion Mineral Paint or Milk Paint): first rinse the brush, then let it rest in water below the ferrule for at least 30 minutes. This will loosen the paint from the bristles. When washing, a little Fusion Brush Soap will remove any residue and condition the bristles.

For oils, waxes, or other oil-based coatings: initially clean the brush with odorless mineral spirits.

💡 Tip! If you do not have time to clean your brush, prevent the paint from drying. Wrap it in plastic, cover it with a damp cloth, or leave it in a container of water up to the ferrule. The next day, rinse it until it is clean.
