Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™ Lacquer is a durable, water-based polyacrylic lacquer with built-in UV protection. Designed specifically for use over Chalk Paint™, it provides a robust finish that withstands everyday wear and tear, ideal for dining tables, outdoor furniture, floors, and baseboards. It applies completely clear and dries quickly without yellowing over time.

Available finishes:

Matt Lacquer (Matte Varnish):

Gloss Lacquer (Glossy Varnish):

• Finished with a light sheen – elegant but not overly shiny

How to apply Chalk Paint™ Lacquer:

1. Prepare the surface – make sure the Chalk Paint™ is completely dry (minimum 24 hours)
2. Shake the varnish well – mix before using
3. Apply with a brush – use a quality brush in the direction of the grain
4. Thin layers – several thin layers are better than one thick layer
5. Let dry – 2-4 hours between coats
6. Sand lightly – between coats with fine sandpaper (optional for an ultra-smooth finish)
7. Apply 2-3 layers – for optimal protection
