How to use Chalk Paint™ Brushes:

1. Prepare the brush – lightly dampen the bristles before first use
2. Load the brush – dip 1/3 of the bristles into the paint
3. Apply with expressive brushstrokes – let the brush marks remain visible
4. Work in the direction of the grain – or in multiple directions for a vintage effect
5. Do not overload – the bristles hold a lot of paint
6. Apply 2-3 coats – for optimal coverage

Cleaning and care:

1. Clean immediately – after each use
2. Use warm water and soap – for water-based Chalk Paint™
3. Rinse thoroughly – until the water runs clear
4. Reshape the bristles – with your fingers while they are damp
5. Dry flat – or hang with the bristles facing downward
6. Never leave in water – this would damage the bristles and handle
