Annie Sloan A4 Paisley Floral Garland Stencil

Paisley Floral Garland A4 Stencil Annie Sloan

The Paisley Floral Garland stencil can be used as a floral garland on horizontal surfaces or repeated to create a striking chintz effect. The paisley shape, synonymous with traditional Indian designs, is inspired by the tropical mango, although it takes its name from the town of Paisley in Scotland, where many Kashmir shawls were made.

What makes this stencil special?

• A4 size – practical format for furniture and horizontal surfaces
• Floral garland design – ideal as a continuous decorative band
• Chintz effect – repeat the pattern to achieve a high-impact print
• Historical roots – the paisley motif combines Indian and Scottish traditions

How to use it:

• As a garland – apply the stencil along horizontal surfaces, such as drawers or table edges
• As a repeated print – repeat the pattern to achieve a high-impact chintz effect
• Spicy colours – use warm, spice-inspired shades of Chalk Paint™ for a vibrant effect
• Indigo blue – paint it in Oxford Navy to evoke the paisley garlands that inspired Annie in Rajasthan

Professional tip: Combine spice-inspired colours or Oxford Navy indigo to achieve the most authentic effect inspired by Annie's travels through India.
